Product Description
The BODUM Bistro Mug Press is not only a must-have in a single household, but it is useful for anyone who enjoys a cup of perfectly brewed coffee! The idea: place the BODUM coffee press system into a mug to initiate the perfect brewing process on a very small scale. No sooner said than done! The Bistro Mug Press is made of stainless steel and fits into most mugs due to the Santoprene rim adapter. To use, add the appropriate amount of coarse ground coffee into the Bistro Mug Press; pour hot water over the ground coffee, filling the cup; set the lid in place with the plunger in the up position; wait 4-minutes and depress the plunger. The Bistro Mug Press comes with a small plastic microwave-proof beaker that can be used to hold the press after the brewing process. In addition, while the coffee brews in the mug, the beaker can be used to warm milk in the microwave. The Bistro Mug Press can also be used for brewing tea. All parts are dishwasher safe.

Great Press (2009-12-27)
Perfect way to make a single cup of coffee. I'm the only coffee drinker in the house and normally use a full size French press but microwave the last several cups. This was a Christmas gift that I've played with for the last couple of days. A few hints: use a heaping teaspoon of coffee, place the press in a tallerish cup, add hot water to the top of the screen, and then the plunger. Brew for several minutes and then press. I add a little water to the cup before drinking. The plastic holder is great to place the press if not next to a sink and protects the screens. I've used a Fr. press for years but have found a small one cup press frustrating because the coffee often clogs the pours of the press. This design eliminates this problem because of the large screens. I look forward to taking this on trips.

Love it!! (2009-11-27)
This is a handy little pot that makes a single serving of coffee easy and delicious!

wasn't what I thought, but is a good product (2009-10-15)
Very good coffee maker, not what I expected though. I assumed it was a coffee maker that you pour into your cup, not the one you make inside your cup. Same difference though, and makes a great cup of ground coffee without all the grounds in your coffee.
