Best I've ever had ... (2010-08-07)
I'm really picky about coffee mugs. My cupboard is a graveyard for ones I've bought and stopped using or never used. What I really like about this one: Easy to clean, no nooks and crannies. Nice to drink out of. It is bigger than some, but I need the pick me up. The rubber around it is a bit loose, but I've used it daily for three months and it hasn't slipped off or out of my hands. It's good looking. It keeps coffee hot for a couple of hours--really, after that, it's time to get a new cup anyway .... I bought one for my husband. He said it leaks a bit, but I'm guessing his is doing some acrobatics. I haven't had that problem.
For those who say the outside is hot and it doesn't retain heat, I agree with the other reviewers who say the vacuum is most likely defective. I've had neither of these issues.

Bought 2 for father's day. Did a lot of research, read many comments and I found these to be the best. And they were at GREAT buy. My husband loves them. His coffee is hot for hours. Easy to clean (which is what I like). The top doesn't have all these parts you have to try and clean around. So you know it is clean. Totally recommend. Expensive BUT WELL WORTH IT.
unfortunatly leaking (2010-07-14)
I Like the size and the feeling of the Mug. A room mate of mine had a similar mug like this and he just tossed it in his bag on our way to work in the morning. I hoped to be able to do the same, unfortunatly the closing mechanism is leaking when i hold it upside down. So if you don't do that you should be happy with Bodum Mug!
