I am so satisfied with this product.I never knew what good coffe was until now.
The best coffee ever (2010-03-18)
My wife and daughter are coffee lovers and I am a great cook so I'm always on the lookout for better ways to create good tastes. I had been trying to get my wife to try a French Press for some time but she wouldn't. I got this for her for Christmas and they both love how rich and flavorful the coffee is. If you spend a lot of money at coffee shops, try this and it will pay for itself in less than a week. I've seen some reviews that say the presses are fragile and cheap but if you use it properly there are no problems. Even if you break it after a few weeks you still got some great coffee for a very resonabel price.
Super coffee press! (2008-11-20)
This is the best French press I've ever owned, bar none. I used Bodum for years; they were okay, but they always broke. I bought the Meyer French Cafe a couple of months ago. It's made of a non-breakable material, so should last longer than the Bodums. I've found the press also keeps my coffee much hotter while brewing than the Bodum did. The press screen does a great job, but there's also a second fine screen to cover the opening when you pour. I don't use it, because I'm afraid it will strain off the 'foamy' part; the foam is of course where most of the coffee oils are, and they are where the flavor lives! In any event, this is a wonderful coffee press, and I'm going to buy a couple more, one to keep in my weekend house, the other for when I need to make a vat of coffee for guests.
